In case you missed the big announcement on our Facebook and Twitter this past Monday, we have EXCITING NEWS for all you basketball fans:

On Saturday, July 14, San Antonio Spurs player and 2007 NBA Champion Matt Bonner will be making a special appearance at Night It Up! as part of NBA 3X @ 905 in the CCYAA Sports Zone!

No, it’s not TV star Matt Bomer from Chuck or White Collar. You may know Matt better as the ‘Red Rocket’, a nickname he earned because of his red hair and regular sightings of him riding the TTC. Join us as the former Raptor takes part in a live Q&A period and a photo/autograph session!

NBA 3X will also feature the Raptors Dance Pak, the Raptors mascot, a dance-off competition, a slam dunk competition, and, of course, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament with a special CCYAA division unique to Night It Up! featuring players from the local Chinese community.

And don’t forget: the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy will also be present for photo opportunities. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to get your photo taken with the one and only NBA championship trophy!
