I think the best would be to go to Cherry beach for picnic, dance slowly under the trees and kiss passionately on the beach!

  8. Comment by Chick Magnet | July 13, 2012 @ 3:22 pm

I would try to hook up with as much chicks as I can that night. As a wise man once said, tonight’s gonna be LEGEND…wait for it…DARY!

I think it would be very casual. We’re doing something we both enjoy and we’re just really comfortable. Maybe at some point it’s too comfortable. Like your date is so relaxed they fart. And it’s like:
Date: “Whoa, I don’t know what to say.”
Me: “It’s cool. I like that we’re so comfortable with each other like this.”
Date: “You know what? I do too. :)
    (And then they fart again)
    Then it’s all like:
Me: “Haha… Yea. I’m really happy where we are at.”
Date: “I can honestly say the same.”
    (Then they fart AGAIN)
Now it’s awkward. I wonder if I’m just dating someone with a gas problem. I am overwhelmed with the thought that I don’t realize it’s been silence for like 10 straight minutes.
    I finally talk, “Ice cream?”

We have ice cream. I love ice cream. GREAT DATE.

Starts with a delicious meal, a walk with a big cup of tea, continues in the car for a drive, and ends with a kiss…or two. ;)

An Idea date for me would be in a beautiful summer in Toronto, probably even one not unlike this weekend.

I’d go out to a Toronto Street Festival such as Taste of The Danforth, Caribana, Pride or of course, Night It Up! and spend the time walking around, sampling cuisines, trying appetizers, main courses and desserts from countries all around the world.

Following this, I’d take a bike ride on one of Toronto’s Bixi Bikes and ride down the Harbourfront Area, maybe even getting ice cream on the way. Finally, I’d want to spend the final hours of the day with my date, maybe in his apartment, and maybe with the prize pack that I’d win here today. ;)

Go to see the lake/sea for both of us at a beautiful night while eating the most favourite food, drinking most favourite drink, listening to the top top music. Take a nap, enjoy the breeze. 2 of us only. Be together!

Going out maybe to the movies & dinner with my bf-without the kids!

  16. Comment by Fred Gandolfi | July 13, 2012 @ 7:05 pm

My ideal date would have my wife and I going to a nice movie that we would both enjoy (i.e. without one of us having to watch it as a favour for the other *g*), and then we stroll around at night holding hands, or with my arm around her waist, unhurried. When we get home we check on the kids – we made great kids, it feels good seeing our accomplishment – sleeping so peacefully, and we’re off to bed.

  17. Comment by John Ha | July 13, 2012 @ 7:14 pm

My ideal date involves sushi with a hint of night action :)

My ideal date would be a hike or going to the beach relaxing. In the evening cozying up by the fire, as long as its a place that is peaceful.

Doing anything with my date is ideal, because every moment makes my heart skip a beat. But of course, I wouldn’t mind some ice wine and new york steaks up in da house!

I gotta admit, comment #19 was real slick and smooth….

  21. Comment by Dave | July 13, 2012 @ 11:36 pm

I want to go camping with my man!

  23. Comment by Steph | July 13, 2012 @ 11:57 pm

    hm.. ideal date =]

It’d start with a late brunch, (not a morning person lol) walk around the neighborhood afterwards with frozen yogurt or cold drink. Go grocery shopping for dinner, cook it together (with all the cliches including the floury nose haha), then end the evening on the couch watching a comedic/action movie.

A date with a female human being.

  30. Comment by Ryan Trang | July 14, 2012 @ 1:05 am

My ideal date is pretty simple. Cooking or baking a meal with my wifey and watching a movie, it’s relaxing and allows us time to talk. What happens afterwards would depend on the time of year. If it’s summer, we would walk on the beach at sunset. If it’s winter, we would go skating at the ice rink.

  31. Comment by John Garcia | July 14, 2012 @ 2:58 am

My ideal date would probably having dinner at a nice restaurant that we agreed upon and after which just stroll around town or a nearby park. Probably continue the conversation we were having during dinner. Then maybe have some midnight snacks or grab some bubble tea.

  32. Comment by Samantha | July 14, 2012 @ 3:13 am

My ideal date would be to head to NIU and try out different foods together with my boyfriend, enjoy a movie and then come back to NIU for even more food. Later that night, I hope to lay outside on the field and stare at the stars together and snuggle/cuddle for a while.

AND I get to exactly this tomorrow (Saturday). I’m looking forward to the shaved ice cream, skewers, games like fishing and buying pins.

  33. Comment by Chapman Fok | July 14, 2012 @ 12:03 pm

  35. Comment by Kingston Wong | July 14, 2012 @ 5:18 pm

My idea of an ideal date is to take someone you love to somehwere they love and do something they love. Choose there favourite activties, food, locations and scenes. Be polite and lovely and keep the romance alive. Bring her flowers when you go and pick her up and dress for the occasion. Make sure you write a letter of confirmation to recognize the special event and remember the date forever. Also take lots of pictures because girls love pictures!

A Date with my boyfriend of 6 years (since we were 16!!! how crazy is that?!)
We have been doing a long distance relationship for 3 years since we both have been in college/uni. I would love to see his face while I’m holding this basket!

Dinner at a new, not yet discovered restaurant with my girl Lynne. Followed by seeing a play at one of the smaller theatres. Then a walk downtown.
